Description

Associated Engineering is an employee-owned Canadian company providing consulting engineering services in the transportation, infrastructure, environmental and water sectors.

We are currently searching for an Electrical, Instrumentation & Control Technologist for our Construction & Integration Group in the Saskatoon office.

Your duties will include drafting and design of process automation components for municipal water and wastewater processes as well as some industrial processes. Your duties will include programming, testing, and start-up of automation systems. Under the guidance of senior engineers, you will be involved in preparing designs, cost estimates, specifications, and contract documents and will also participate in scheduling, budgeting, tendering, and contract administration for water-related projects.

Candidates should have the following qualifications:

- A diploma from a technical college in Electrical, Instrumentation & Control    
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience
- Experience with computer hardware, troubleshooting, networks, and radio communications
- Experience in drafting and design (CADD)
- Experience with PLCs,  HMIs, and SCADA control systems
- Experience with motor starters, drives, and standby generators
- Proven technical skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and organization skills
- Committed team player
- Willingness to travel as required
