Reporting to the Controller, the position of
Accounting Assistant will be responsible for
assisting with accounting functions and executive
assistant duties within the office. This
individual will work closely with the Controller,
as well as the President and Vice President to
ensure all accounting duties are met and promote a
professional and positive working environment.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for general accounting duties,
including but not limited to: posting journal
entries, maintaining multiple companies through
trial balance, asset management, maintaining
spreadsheets, budget data compilation and bank
reconciliations
Gather financial information for data analysis
and provide basic analysis
Assist with Benefits Administration and Payroll
Providing some executive assistant duties to the
President and Vice President
Assisting the Controller with projects and other
duties as assigned
Education and Experience
Knowledge of accounting, payroll, data and
administrative management practices and procedures
Knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
Proficient in accounting software such as Accpac
