Description

Southeast College is currently recruiting for a Power Engineering Instructor. This 36 week program will start in January 2015 in Assiniboia, SK.

Your role as instructor will be supported through instructional materials, on-going employer provided assistance, and our requisite faculty orientation program.

Duties:
Prepare and deliver lessons, assignments, lectures, and demonstrations.
Evaluate students.
Supervise students in classrooms and labs during tours and off-site work assignments.
Assist in/arrange for equipment/supplies as necessary.
Practice good interpersonal skills.
Communicate orally and on paper ideas and concepts in an accurate and concise manner.
May be required to travel and/or instruct some evening courses.

Qualifications:
Grade 12 or equivalent.
Second Class Power Engineering Interprovincial Certificate.
Two years recent/relevant Second Class operating experience in the Power Engineering field.
Good interpersonal skills.
Good communication skills.
Good instructional ability.
Demonstrates valuing diversity.
