Description

Enhanced Service Delivery (ESD) program is aimed at increasing an Income Assistance client's employability by addressing barriers to employment. ESD is delivered in conjunction with the First Nations Job Fund (FNJF). Clients who are ready may transition to the FNJF for skills specific training or directly to employment.

Reporting to the Enhanced Service Delivery (ESD) Coordinator, the Case Manager will undertake individual case management functions with clients who have been referred through the ESD program. Case management will help determine client barriers and identify what steps need to be taken to overcome. Responsibilities include assisting client with career map, action planning and providing case management supports to ensure client success in obtaining employment.

The successful candidate will take a lead role in planning and administering work experience partnership activities and provide Employment Assisted Services to clients.

The candidate should possess the following:

*    Completion of post-secondary degree and two years of experience in case management or employment counseling.  A combination of education and experience will also be considered;
*    Ability to network with service organizations and resources to provide linkages to existing services and  client supports;
*    Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook;
*    Proven leadership and administrative capabilities;
*    Excellent interpersonal, communications and analytical skills;
*    Must possess a valid driver's license and ability to travel;
*    CPIC required upon an interview.
