The RCMP Heritage Centre is seeking a dedicated part time Retail Associate. The Centre is open 7 days per week therefore the ability to work weekends on a flexible schedule is required. The position is permanent with an average of 20 hours/week over various shifts and will commence as soon as possible.
Skills/Knowledge/Abilities
Excellent organizational, planning and time management skills, including the ability to handle multiple, concurrent priorities in a fast paced environment
Solid attention to detail
Clear and articulate written and verbal communication skills
Knowledge of Microsoft Office as well as experience working within an accounting software program
High degree of professionalism and integrity with an exemplary customer service focus
Demonstrated strength in achieving targets and meeting deadlines
Demonstrated attention to detail
Ability to work effectively with others, yet also able to work independently with minimal supervision
Ability to maintain an unimpeachable standard of integrity in all business relationships and maintain the confidentiality of information
Education
Grade 12
Experience
1 2 years of retail experience
The RCMP Heritage Centre is a national cultural facility that celebrates the remarkable history of Canada's premier national police force. As such, knowledge of the history of the RCMP as well as bi-lingual in French and English is an asset. A Criminal Record Check will be required.
