Qualifications and Requirements
-Degree or diploma in Agriculture is preferred
-P. Agronomist will be given preference
-Minimum 2 years field experience preferred
-Experience in creating fertility plans
Duties and Responsibilities
As an agronomist for Rack Petroleum you will strive to be ahead of the competition when it comes to making ethically, environmentally and economically sound advice. Basic duties include:
-Expanding and implementing our UYMI agronomy program
-Creating and implementing prescription maps for variable rate customers
-Soil sampling and fertilizer recommendations
-Assisting in the chemical shed and fertilizer plant as required
-Scouting fields and making recommendations
-Mentor and teach summer students
