Our Regina-based client requires computer aided drafting (CAD) services for transmission facilities electrical drawing updates. The contract is on a full time basis for a minimum of one (1) year. The start date for these services will be ASAP.
The focus of this position is on electrical drawings related to natural gas transmission
(pipeline and compression) facilities. Duties may include, but are not limited to:
- The editing / creating of 2D drawings using AutoCAD Map 3D and 3D drawings using CADWorx.
- Updating drawings to As-Built status from varioussources of field mark-ups.
- Drawing administration including developing as-built inventory, tracking completion
progress and liaison with engineering groups to have drawings approved.
- Update and maintain corporate drawing information in the Drawing Management
System (SharePoint).
- Assist in the development and maintenance of CAD standards, procedures, and
specifications.
- Participate in meetings related to work assignments.
- The candidate will be provided with the necessary training to complete projects to
TransGas standards and specifications.

Mandatory Qualifications
- Candidates must have graduated with a diploma from a recognized computer aided drafting (CAD) program.
- Candidates must be proficient in CAD Software (AutoCAD Map 3D).
- Candidate must be either a permanent resident or Canadian citizen. No work permits or visas.
