Duties:
- Assists with drain cleaning, operation of steam thawing jetting equipment for water and sewer, video inspection in residential and commercial settings.
- Participates in work order preparation, keeping detailed services records and invoicing.
- Assists with field work as required, taking measurements, inspections and recording.
- Must have good attention to detail and ability to learn quickly.
- Receives and performs related assignments from senior technicians.
- Assists with the preparation of various reports, as required.
- Maintains positive attitude and clean uniform at all times.
- Maintains a clean van and assists with daily cleaning in the shop every morning.
- Ability to drive with and hook up trailers, 16' and 10' trailers.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Knowledge of soldering in cooper pipe would be an asset.
Qualifications
- Grade 12 education
- Possession of a valid Saskatchewan Class 5 Driver's Licence.
- Current driver's abstract from SGI demonstrating a safe driving record.
- Ability to deal courteously and tactfully with the public and to establish and maintain effective working relationships.
- Experience drain cleaning with cable machines and jetting equipment is an asset.
- Physical ability to perform the assigned duties and carrying equipment in varying weather conditions.
- Skill in the use of a computer with spreadsheet.
- Ability to communicate in English effectively verbally and in writing.
- Criminal record check is a must.
Salary:
Depending on candidate knowledge. Starting at $16/hour.
