The role of the business analyst is to work as a liaison among stakeholders to facilitate the gathering, validating and communicating of requirements for assigned projects. In addition, the business analyst role performs gap analysis, facilitates the creation of Test Strategies and Test Plans, works closely with the tester to ensure requirements traceability in test cases, and may be required to facilitate business process reviews.
