Description

Garratt Industries Ltd. is a leader in manufacturing grain cleaning and seed processing equipment for over 20 years.  Our facility is located in Milestone, Saskatchewan, Canada.  Garratt Industries manufactures industrial grade gravity tables, de-stoners, vibratory feeders and air screens to outfit various plant sizes.  Equipment is not produced on an assembly line.  Each unit is manufactured on demand resulting in direct knowledge of each products performance, capabilities and function.

Garratt Industries has immediate openings for full time metal fabricator laborers.

Type of Establishment/Work Setting Experience

    Manufacturing of Seed processing equipment

Qualifications

    No specific education or training required
    Welding experience is an asset
    Able to communicate using the English language
    Must Have a valid Class 5 Drivers licence
    Applicant must be physically fit, hard worker
    The work is "hands on" and you must be able to work quickly and efficiently

Responsibilities

    Willing to work outdoors in hot and cold weather conditions
    Demonstrated ability of decision making and problem solving
    Wear appropriate personal safety equipment
    Perform duties to ensure the personal safety of self and others
    Moving and loading a variety of heavy equipment in preparation for customer orders
    Receiving, organizing, unloading product and inventory
    Ensuring good housekeeping and safety procedures are maintained
    Performs other duties as directed by Management

Duties include but not limited to
    Operating saw
    Sandblasting
    Prep for paint
    Operation of welding equipment
    General metal fabricating
    Assembly of equipment
