TCU Financial Group is the sixth largest credit union in Saskatchewan, with over $662 million in assets on the credit union side, $153 million of assets under administration on the wealth management side, and $47 million in member equity. TCU and TCU Wealth Management Inc. serve over 18,000 clients through their five retail branch locations in Saskatoon and Regina. As a result of the upcoming retirement of the current Chief Executive Officer, TCU Financial Group is seeking a new Chief Executive Officer to lead the organization with a continued focus on innovation, growth, and member services.
As the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), you report to the Board of Directors and collaborate with the Board to develop the vision and strategic plan for the organization. You are a dynamic strategic thinker, capable of understanding the marketplace within which TCU operates and actively developing proactive and innovative strategies to continue to move TCU forward on its exciting path.
You are adept at developing and maintaining relationships with members, staff, suppliers and the community. You demonstrate respect and courtesy to others and welcome different perspectives. You lead by modeling your behaviour to align with TCUs values.
Your skills as a leader enable you to sustain and enhance TCUs high performance culture. Collaborative in approach, you ensure that all staff understands their role in achieving the vision. As a coach and mentor, you support team members to accomplish goals and objectives. Results oriented by nature, you maximize organizational effectiveness and sustainability, ensuring that your team has the resources required to deliver on both short-term and longer-term organizational objectives.
As the ideal candidate, you have a related business degree and 10-15 years of management experience at the senior or executive level. Knowledge of the credit union system and wealth management operations is considered an asset.
