Our Opportunity

We are currently seeking a highly capable Survey Group Leader for our Saskatoon office. The successful candidate will be responsible to build and maintain a skilled and competitive discipline team; manage the size and make-up of the team to suit workload; implement improvements and improve efficiency. The Survey Group Leader represents the company with clients on an ongoing basis and may identify and pursue market opportunities within area of expertise. Some field survey work and office based processing of survey data may also be required.

Using your considerable organizational, communication and people skills, you will lead and work with cross discipline teams to ensure projects are completed within allotted schedules and budgets, and to high quality standards.  Mentorship of new and junior employees is also a key part of this role.


Requirements

    Diploma in Geomatics Engineering Technology. A three or four year Degree in Geomatics Engineering is preferred;
    Registered as a professional Survey Technologist or Geomatics Engineer in Canada. Registration as a professional Land Surveyor or P.Eng. Geomatics is preferred;
    10 years of broad based and progressive experience in a survey office environment with particular emphasis on construction surveying for large scale natural resource based projects;
    Minimum of 5 years as a team leader of at least 10 employees.
