Located at 101 South Ave, Melfort, SK, Ag Com Transport Ltd. is currently seeking seven (7) Truck Drivers (NOC 7411). The positions will be permanent (35-40 hrs per week) with a starting wage of $25.00 per hour. Location of work will vary due to the nature of the occupation; however will primarily be within Saskatchewan.
Truck drivers perform some or all of the following duties:
Operate and drive Super B truck and trailer combinations to transport fuel to destinations in SK, AB, MB & BC.
Oversee all aspects of vehicles, such as condition of equipment, loading and unloading, and safety and security of cargo.
Perform pre-trip inspection of vehicle systems and equipment such as tires, lights and brakes.
Perform emergency roadside repairs.
Record cargo information, distance traveled, fuel consumption and other information in log book and on trip sheets and bills of lading.
Communicate with dispatcher and other drivers using two-way radio and cellular telephone.
Will be transporting dangerous goods.
Employment requirements
A valid Class 1A Saskatchewan driver's license is required.
Air brake endorsement is required.
Mountain experience is required.
On the job training is provided.
Transportation of dangerous goods (TDG) certification is required.
