Description

Job Duties:
-Host seven regional community forums in the North, Central, and South  Saskatchewan with members of  the surrounding   community organization stakeholders and Friendship Centre representatives;
-Be responsible for: - logistical planning of focus groups - data collection - data analysis
-Contract 7-8  local assistants for each community including the youth forum to assist with data collection and analysis;
-Host a Youth Leadership Forum to engage youth perspective on barriers to participation in the economy.
-The data analysis from the focus group sessions will be used as the groundwork for the development of a SK Regional Plan.

Qualifications:    
-The ideal candidate will possess a Masters  degree in a related field (i.e. degree in social sciences - psychology, sociology, or another related discipline) or a combination of experience and post-secondary education
-Candidate must have exceptional oral and written communication and presentations skills
-Well-developed verbal, written, interpersonal, cross-cultural and relationship-building skills
-Knowledge of Aboriginal culture and history is an asset
-Ability to work independently, demonstrate initiative, perform job duties in an accurate and timely fashion
-Ability to work with others including developing and maintaining networks
-Proficiency with computer technology (including Microsoft Office Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

Skills and Requirements:
-Present a current CPIC
-This position involves travel throughout the province, owning your own vehicle is an asset but not necessary
