Internship Description
This is a research-focused position providing experience in fact-finding, strategy implementation, historical archiving and storage of SaskPower files, artifacts, photos and digital assets.
Responsibilities
The intern would be responsible for but not limited to the following:
Research and document SaskPower facts throughout its 80 year history
Reviewing back issues of HiLines (employee magazine), annual reports and other publications to find key information around SaskPowers history and entering it into a database
Research and identify historical photos/videos, names, places, dates
Digitize print and film assets as required
* Implement SaskPower artifact strategy
Qualifications
Certificate, Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Historical Research, or Library Technician.
