The Town of Kindersley is seeking a Recreation Clerk to join its team at the West Central Events Centre. Reporting to the Recreation Manager, either a part-time job sharing position or full-time position will be considered. Applicants should state their preference.
Responsibilities:
As an essential member of the Recreation Department, the Recreation Clerk is primarily responsible for, but not limited to, the administration of events at the West Central Events Centre. The primary responsibilities will include customer service, receiving facility bookings, processing rental billings, facility usage tracking, maintaining facility appearance and driving customer experience in the Events Centre. Position may include some evening & weekend work as needed. Other duties may be assigned as required.
Qualifications:
Post-secondary diploma or degree in recreation or 3 years equivalent experience preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
Strong attention to detail
Ability to deal with people sensitively, tactfully, diplomatically & professionally at all times
Standard First Aid & CPR-C
Highly flexible, with strong interpersonal skills that allow one to work effectively in a diverse working environment
Ability to effectively communicate both verbally and in writing
