Description

The La Loche Community School provides educational programming for students K-12 in two separate buildings with a total enrolment of 876 students and teaching staff of 57 teachers plus 26 paraprofessionals.  The above position is in the Dene Building (grades 7-12); a modern, well equipped facility with an enrolment of 418 students, 28 teachers plus 6 paraprofessionals.

This is a full-time, temporary teaching position to start as soon as possible until June 30, 2015. The expected teaching assignment will be Native Studies 10 & 20, Life Transitions with a willingness to teach Home Economics or another PAA Class. The successful candidate must be eligible for Saskatchewan Professional A or Provisional Professional A teaching certification.

Salary is according to the provincial grid plus a benefits package that includes subsidized, furnished housing and a northern living allowance. Moving assistance may be available.
