HOURS:       Tuesday to Saturday 8:00am - 4:00pm -             37.5 hours per week

SALARY:      $18.30 PER HOUR STARTING WAGE

START DATE:  IMMEDIATE

ACCOUNTABILITY & OBJECTIVES:
  
Is responsible for responding to and performing any hands-on maintenance and preventative maintenance duties in a residential hospitality setting in all of the residence areas in a safe efficient and friendly manner with consideration for residents and staff.
  
  
BACKGROUND / QUALIFICATIONS:
  
A proven handy person with prior experience.
Working professionally with senior clientele is preferred.
Ability to maintain effective oral and written communications in English.
Demonstrated leadership, organizational and interpersonal skills. Be able to demonstrate initiative and problem solving skills.  Ability to work independently with minimum supervision.  Must be flexible and versatile, a team player.
Knowledge of WHMIS, and First Aid.
A person with a positive self-projection, nurturing excellent human relations with residents, families and other team members.  A people-person with a heart for seniors and a positive, outgoing disposition.
