Skill Requirements:
Education: Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalen. Degree in Early Childhood Education will be an asset.
Credentials (certificates, licences, memberships, courses, etc.): Early Childhood Education Certificate LEVEL III, First Aids and Infant CPR Certificate, Satisfactory criminal record check is required, Clear TB Test
Experience: 1~2 Years
Languages: Speak English, Read English, Write English
Type of Work: Child Care
Work Setting: Child Care Centre, Day-care Centre
Children's Ages: 2 months to 2 1/2 only

Early Childhood Education Skills: Plan and develop child care and nursery school programs, Provide supervision and guidance of daily activities, field trips and special activities, Provide opportunity for creative expression through the mediums of art, dramatic play and music, Prepare progress reports and discuss with parents and other staff members, Knowledge of Day Nurseries Act, Knowledge of licensing regulations
Additional Skills: Assist in maintaining records of children, Maintain day care supplies and equipment, Assist in housekeeping duties, Able to work independently. Well developed interpersonal skills, including oral and written communication.. Supervise staff, trainees or volunteers
Security and Safety: Criminal record check
Transportation: Own transportation
Ability to Supervise: 1 to 2 People
