Description

Gale Toews Private Wealth Management is seeking a full-time Licensed Administrative Assistant for our branch. This position will assist a Financial Advisor with an established business.

Raymond James Ltd. is one of Canadas leading independent investment dealers offering high quality investment services to Canadians seeking customized solutions to their wealth management needs.

Drawing on previous experience as an Administrative Assistant in a financial services firm, or upon a degree/diploma within Financial Management or Business Administration, you must have a meticulous attention to detail, possess a positive attitude, and have exceptional interpersonal skills, as you will be communicating directly with clients. The successful candidate must also be responsible, confident, self-motivated and a team player.

Specifically you will:
Complete, verify and transmit various account opening forms;
Respond to requests for information and provide outstanding service to the Financial Advisor and her clients;
Prepare and review daily reports;
Update documentation and adhere to internal and external policies and procedures;
Prepare bank deposits and manage cheque deposits;
Complete account and transfer follow ups, transaction corrections, receive and send mail, and process RRSP contributions;
Enter trade, including stocks, bonds and mutual funds.

To qualify for this opportunity you possess:
Completion of/close to completion of the Canadian Securities Course as well as the Conduct and Practices Handbook;
Proficiency with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word);
Excellent verbal\written communication skills;
Professionalism, with superior organizational and administrative skills;
Are detailed oriented with a sense of urgency in completion of tasks and the ability to work at a varied pace;
A willingness to work in a small team environment;
