We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Senior Document Controller located at our KSPC Legacy project site in Bethune, SK. This role has the overall responsibility for providing support on site to a major project. Key Responsibilities
Leading the document control function in accordance with corporate procedures and project requirements in a timely and efficient manner.
Timely and accurate update of information within an electronic information management system.
Ensuring that all internally prepared technical documents are logged into the Electronic Data Management System and distributed and returned by users in accordance with AMEC and client procedures.
Ensuring supplier/contractor drawings in both electronic and hard copy format are logged with transmittal memoranda, distributed to, and returned by, users in accordance with AMEC and client procedures.
Communicating and directly work to a team effectively with appropriate engineering/construction disciplines; including providing ongoing updates on status of work.
Perform electronic scanning, copying, binding, mailing and distribution duties as arises on site.
Provide administrative support to other site staff if needed.
Ensure Health & Safety responsibilities are adhered to and understood.
Role Requirements
Graduate of a Library Technology, Records Management, Information Management or Administration Assistant program; or equivalent relevant work experience
8-10 years related experience in the engineering/construction industry with keen interest in supporting project teams in a consulting engineering office.
3 years supervisory experience
A strong working knowledge of Windows Applications, including Word, Excel, Internet Explorer, and SharePoint experience would be an asset.
