Description
Identify new, creative and broad-based solutions that help customers achieve their overall goals
Transform strategic accounts with lower current revenue levels and advance them into expanded and broader levels through the creation and execution of specific strategies
Develop relationships and partnerships through strategic and proactive outbound calling efforts
Analyze and report industry trends, competitive pricing, and customer feedback to management
Establish proactive local partnerships with preferred suppliers and manufacturers
Help create, facilitate and execute on the development of strategic customer planning
Increase orders by suggesting related items, explaining features/benefits, and linking them to customers needs
Otain phone orders, verify and enter items, transfer orders to fulfillment, and explain stock-outs and expected delivery dates
Obtain customer agreements and information; open accounts or extend credit
Collaborate and communicate with Outside Sales to ensure customer satisfaction
Requirements
Understanding of vertical market conditions, challenges and directions
Strong written/verbal communication and presentation skills
Knowledge of value of inventory and total cost of ownership
Knowledge of electrical, electronic, automation/control products
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of 2-4 years of inside sales experience in electrical, automation or industrial settings
Professional phone sales or business development experience with proven track record of achieving goals is preferred
