Description

Bioriginal Food & Science Corporation is looking for a Maintenance Supervisor/Planner to join our team who will be responsible for supervising and coordinating our electrical and mechanical activities, preventative initiatives while maintaining safe work practices as well as fostering a positive and innovative work environment.
Responsibilities:
-Provide leadership and direction to maintenance crews.
-Facilitate and promote a safe and positive working environment for all employees, visitors and contractors.
-Lead the maintenance team to achieve objectives and targets in safety, quality, costs and employee engagement.
-Order spare parts, manage spare parts inventory and purchasing/receiving activities.
-Responsible for the timely placement of purchase orders, delivery of materials to meet maintenance requirements, receiving and management of parts sent out for repair.
-Utilize Computerized Maintenance Management System for maintenance activities.
Qualifications:
-Trades background in a resource-based industry with at least 3 years of experience in a supervisory role managing maintenance crews involving various trades.
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a proven ability to work with others to perform maintenance projects safely while managing costs and deadlines.
-Excellent analytical, problem solving, and computer skills with knowledge of Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
-Ability to lead continuous improvement activities to ensure targets are achieved through equipment and process improvements.
-Post-secondary training in electronics, automation or industrial mechanics would be a definite asset.
