THE POSITION: Reporting to the AVP, People & Development, this position is responsible to coordinate the personal and professional development of employees and to support the organizations vision, values and objectives. Applicants must be able to travel between branches to provide support as required. Additional responsibilities will include:
Coordinate delivery of credit union training requirements through a needs analysis consolidation of the credit union
Development and communication of the training plan on an annual basis
Evaluate training and development effectiveness by assessing application of learning to job performance through evaluation including employee and supervisory input; recommending future training and development programs
Provide support and counsel on matters relating to training issues and practices
Ensure the integration of the training plan within the strategic direction of the credit union
Satisfy employee education requirements developed through career planning by acting as resource for educational institution programs
