Description

This entry level position to the Estevan location will be responsible for learning all components of the business which includes the unloading, loading, order picking, and delivery of sucker rods, as well as shop and other duties. This person will become familiar with the subsequent procedures and operations and will initially work under the supervision of an experienced employee.

Prior Oilfield experience is preferred however this is also an excellent entry level position for a mechanically inclined candidate as on the job training will be provided.  Duties will correspond with candidates level of experience.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

Depending on level of experience, candidates will initially work under supervision (on the job training) with an experienced employee, achieving competency on basic job tasks/set instructions or procedures in the shop relating to assembling , disassembling, refurbishing  and testing of pumps and sucker rods to both WFT and external customer specifications.  
Customer service, answering inquiries, billing and invoicing duties
Warehouse duties and deliveries
Compliance with all Weatherford safety regulations and company policies.
Orientation and learning how to safely operate various equipment associated with position.
Ability to work independently with no or minimal supervision and ability to deal with customers.
Responsible for shop cleanliness.
Ability to work overtime hours, as workload requires.

Grade 12 or equivalent
Demonstrated mechanical aptitude
Capability of residing in Estevan region
Valid class 5 operators license in good standing
Capability of working overtime
Demonstrated and effective problem solver
Quality first attitude
Ability to follow set work instructions both from binder and computer.
Familiarity with work process and ability to anticipate the next step
