Description

NSC Minerals is a major supplier of bulk salt in Western Canada and the Northern United States with offices located in Saskatoon, SK and Calgary, AB.

POSITION SUMMARY:
The AR/Payroll Administrator is a full time position working out of the Saskatoon corporate head office and will perform a number of duties related to administration and accounting.  Their primary responsibility is invoicing customers and ensuring all accounts are collected in a timely fashion.  They will be responsible for preparing and monitoring the payroll and benefits.  This person will be someone who pays attention to detail and has highly developed organizational skills, to ensure the accuracy of our financial transactions.  

FUNCTIONS:
Prepare payroll, benefits and pensions for plant employees at 5 locations
Prepare customer invoices and statements in a timely and accurate manner
Record daily deposit(s) in accounting system
Collect outstanding receivables in a timely manner
Reconcile customer accounts, ensuring prompt resolution of discrepancies and enquiries
Maintain customer account status (ie. credit limits)
Manage credit applications and approval process
Provide support to sales order desk
Other related accounting and administrative duties as assigned

Great interpersonal skills with the ability to work within a team
Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
Combination of experience and education will be considered
