The Handy Group of Companies Heating Division is seeking a Heating Technician to work out of Saskatoon servicing our heating customers throughout Saskatchewan. This division rents, sells and services heating systems using our extensive product line including Frost Fighters, Dry Air and Ground Thaw systems which service the construction, oil and mining industries. In this challenging role, every day will be different as you travel to a variety of sites to service, set up and dismantle the equipment. This position will require:
- A motivated, self starter
- Someone who works well independently as well as in a team
- An individual with excellent problem solving and troubleshooting skills
- Mechanical aptitude
- Travel throughout Saskatchewan some overnights may be required
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Attention to detail
- Availability after hours and weekend for service calls
- An experienced, Class 5 drivers license with a clean abstract
- Forklift license an asset
The Heating Technician will be responsible for:
- Instructing customers on how to properly use safe work practices while operating equipment
- Installing and removing equipment at a variety of venues (indoors and outdoors)
- Maintaining a clean and organized warehouse with daily housekeeping
- Completing paperwork and data entry
