TRON requires an Experienced, Knowledgeable, Motivated, and Career minded construction cost estimator to be responsible for the accurate, timely preparation of full cost estimates for projects, including materials, and Labour.
This individual's accuracy is critical to the Profitability of the business. This individual will be customer focused, working in a Team environment.
*Prepare and coordinate the preparation of full cost estimates on conceptual, design-build or general Industrial work. this should include preparing materials, labour, and equipment cost, estimations necessary to successfully carry out an Industrial construction project according to proposals, plans, estimates, and specifications
*Prepare and maintain a list of suppliers, contractors, and sub contractors
*Study and analyze proposals received, and recommend/reject proposals and negotiate contracts as well as review proposal specifications.
*Effectively determine the bid strategies required for the company to be successful to include providing technical assistance in negotiating contracts, change orders, as required.
*Perform additional assignments per supervisors direction
*Work based in Saskatoon Main office, with Periodic Mine visits/40 hours per week
