Description

The Oxbow Herald, part of TC Media, is seeking an energetic, creative, and dedicated media sales professional to join our advertising team as a part-time Multimedia Sales Executive.

TC Media is a leading edge media publisher with a network of newspapers, website, and other media assets. Beyond being Canadas largest commercial printer, our publication arsenal includes newspapers and their associated website; The Prince Albert Daily Herald, Rural Roots, Moose Jaw Times-Herald, Southern Life, Southwest Booster plus weekly publications across Saskatchewan. Still more than a newspaper publisher, we provide multi media advertising solutions that leverage an industry leading array of national brands; Canadian Living, The Hockey News, Occasions Magazine, Weblocal.ca, Yahoo.ca, and BidGo.ca just to name a few.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

-Identify and pursue potential clients
-Research and propose solutions that benefit our clients
-Ensure comprehensive deployment of product to customers
-Develop the marketing and advertising strategies for our various products
-Participate in ongoing development of our        advertising products
-Nurturing existing customers
-Introducing clients to the best marketing products and services
-Build long-term customer relationships

QUALIFICATIONS:

-Experience in media advertising sales a strong asset
-Excellent writing and communication skills
-Self-motivated
-Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint)
-Must be able to travel
-A love for working with local businesses

This is a permanent part-time position with a base hourly wage plus commission.
