Description

Event Specialists are on-going, part-time positions, working a maximum of 28 hours a week. Schedules are within the time frame of Thursday, Friday 11:30 am- 6:00 pm, and Saturday and Sunday 10:00 am- 4:30 pm, with an unpaid 30 minute break.  

Event Specialist Responsibilities include:
-Conducting consumer facing activities, demonstrations, and samples.
-Sharing information about the products and encouraging sales.
-Making a significant impact on sales and improving the customers' buying experience.
-Assisting customers based on their individual usage needs and interests.
-Setting up and breaking down events within 15 minute periods.
-Completing call reports, paperwork, and on-going personal training in a timely manner, meeting all deadlines.

Strong candidates should possess:
-Significant experience in event marketing, demonstrations, sales, or retail/grocery is highly desirable.
-Must be confident, and articulate to speak effectively and informatively with consumers.
-Independent and motivated team player.
-Ability to stand comfortably for up to 8 hours a day (excluding breaks), push a cart weighing 52-74 lbs within a distance of 150-300 feet, carry appliances/ equipment weighing up to 40 lbs within a distance of 5-10 feet and up to 10 feet overhead, and climb a stool or step ladder to reach up to 10 feet
-Reliable transportation
-Daily access to a PC computer with Internet/email access and telephone
-Must be able to pass an online Food Safety certification (all training hours will be paid)
-Must be 18 years of age or older
