Position and Scope
As an integral member of a dynamic company, you will be relied upon to bring a wealth of knowledge and creativity to the HR Division. This role will serve a broad range of functions including employee relations, benefits administration, and HRIS maintenance with a great emphasis on recruitment and onboarding. The ideal candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills, be driven by details and possess a strong knowledge of the human resource practices.
Key Accountabilities of the position include:
1. Coordinate the recruitment and selection program: maintaining/developing job descriptions, preparing and placing job advertisements, reviewing and short listing resumes, interviewing candidates and assisting Division Managers with the selection of candidates.
2. Managing all aspects of new employee orientation including the preparation, delivery and follow up. Work with Division Managers to ensure successful onboarding and integration of their new team members.
3. Administering the Envirotec group benefits package including enrolment, changes, terminations and the education of the program to employees.
4. Maintaining all employee documents and files.
5. Provide general support on all related HR issues support to Managers.
6. Assist with basic payroll duties including entering wage change information, bonuses and deductions.
