Diefenbaker Seed Processors Ltd. (DSP), located
near the lakeside town of Elbow, Saskatchewan (SW
16-26-4-W3), is seeking an experienced Plant
Operations Supervisor to join their team. The
successful applicant will have 3-5 years of
related supervisory experience in a
manufacturing/plant setting and will be oriented
in all aspects of plant operation. Upon
completion of a probationary period, DSP offers a
comprehensive benefits package, as well as
pension. If you possess experience in the
following, as well as the skills listed, and are

-Coordinate, schedule and supervise plant
staff
-Establish methods to meet work schedules
and production demands
-Communicate staff and operational issues
to management and recommend measures to improve
productivity and product quality
-Training staff in job duties, safety
procedures and company policy
-Prepare and maintain production reports
and other reports as required
-Familiar with HACCP and WHIMIS an asset
-Punctual, approachable team player
-Mechanical aptitude with an ability to
supervise and recommend adjustments to machinery
to maintain productivity
-Completion of High School or equivalent
-Attention to detail
-Ability to work well within a team or
independently with little supervision
-Ability to communicate effectively, orally
and in writing
-Ability to lift 25 Kg comfortably
-Other duties as required
