RESPONSIBILITIES:
Researches and secure competitive pricing/service without compromising quality/service and manages the ordering process.
Institutes and maintains inventory controls and reports to region.
Conduct a semi-annual inventory.
Responsible for approving and processing accounts payables/accounts receivables and assists in special parts procurement.
Manages incoming stock, unloading of parts received, and all paperwork for each delivery.
Reviews status of defective and warranty parts, ensuring they are returned to supplier.
Liaise with regional shop foreman with respect to special requests and requirements.
Assist in special projects and other job duties as assigned.
EDUCATION:
Advanced Computer knowledge is necessary
Grade 12
EXPERIENCE / KNOWLEDGE:
Advanced computer knowledge
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel
Strong organizational skills
Ability to work under pressure and within strict deadlines
Attention to detail with the ability to prioritize and multi-task
Possess a high degree of initiative, judgment and decision making skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Outstanding customer service skills
Ability to make decisions both in person and on the phone
Solid knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems and parts requirements for vehicles.
Previous experience in vehicular parts of inventory management in office/warehouse environment is preferred.
