AUTOMOTIVE TECHNICIAN/JOURNEYPERSON OPPORTUNITY
Minute Muffler Brake & Wheel Moose Jaw has an opening for a talented, passionate employee. We are a locally owned and operated complete automotive service center. Join our team and assist us with providing quality repairs and service to our valued customers.
As the successful applicant you will:
-Be a Journeyman or registered apprentice
-You must have your own tools and protective footwear
-Have experience with a variety of vehicle brands
-Must hold a valid drivers license
-Possess superior time-management skills
-Be ambitious and have a desire to succeed
-Have a proven record of helping to maintain a safe work environment
-Have superior communication and customer service skills
In this position, you will:
-Examine vehicles to determine wear and extent of damage or malfunctions
-Test and adjust repaired systems to meet manufacturer's performance specifications
-Be able to repair or replace all parts of a vehicle
-Perform scheduled maintenance and service
-Install optional equipment on vehicles
-Communicate with Service Advisors so customers can be informed if any additional service is required and provide an estimate of time and parts needed for additional repairs
-Complete reports to record work performed
-Ensure cleanliness of shop area
