Under general direction, works in concert with the Senior Project Manager and on-site Project Superintendent to ensure consistent delivery of the project.
PRINCIPAL DUTIES:
1. Leads the Quality Control Program including the review of submittal packages for on-site product and procedure compliance.
2. Leads the coordination of on-site safety programs. Verifies that monthly
toolbox training and safety reporting are completed. Performs on-site Safety Orientations and participates in Pre-Job Hazard Assessments. Works with project management / project superintendent to ensure employees and subcontractors have the proper safety equipment.
3. Leads site specific scheduling including co-ordination with client contractor and
sub-contractor staff.
4. Assists in project documentation control. Gathers, processes, and archives documents such as customer email communications, QC checklists, Inspection Reports, Commissioning Checklists, Hazard Assessments, and ToolBox Meeting Minutes. Completes and archives project closeout checklists as part of the projects Operation & Maintenance Manuals (i.e.as-builts, warranty letters, and training documentation).
REQUIREMENTS:
Associates degree preferred, high school diploma or equivalent required, plus five or more years of related work experience, preferably within the contracting/sales, construction or technical work environment. Must have proficient computer skills within the following applications: Advanced Microsoft Word, Excel, ACCESS, MS Project, Desktop Publishing and Internet business application usage.
