Description

We are presently looking for creative and energetic educators to join our dynamic team environment at our child care facility, located in Emerald Park 10 Minutes East of Regina. These individuals would be responsible for preparing and providing age appropriate daily experiences, including excursions and special activities, for a group of toddler, preschool or school age children.

Along with ensuring the safe supervision of all the children's well being, that exceeds the licensing standards, the successful candidates will also pose as a support for other staff working with children with challenging needs.

The above positions requires positive role modeling that works towards fostering staff, family and community involvement.

Starting wage will be in accordance to union pay grid and qualifications. Range will be between $13.44/hr - $22.48/hr. As well, an excellent benefit and RRSP package provided after successful completion of probationary period.

Skills:    Credential Requirements
- Early Childhood Education III certification or equivalent.
Candidates with ECE II, willing to continue training will be considered
- Experience working with children
- Clear Criminal record check
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- Tuberculosis test

Personal and Professional Qualifications
- Be genuine, reliable and resourceful.
- Pose effective communication skills; both verbally and written.
- Work under limited supervision in a team setting.
- Assist in housekeeping duties.
- Conduct programs for an inclusive child care centre.
- Knowledge of licensing regulations.
- Willingness to continue training thru workshops, classes etc.
- Ability to problem-solve and make on the spot decisions.
