Description

Reporting to the Director, Information Technology Branch, the IT Architecture Manager is responsible for delivering business value to customers by architecting effective solutions that address their business problems, needs, and opportunities in a manner that is consistent with SLGAs strategic and business goals. This position is also responsible for IT Security. The IT Architecture Manager is relied upon by executive/senior management, consultants, and managers for experience and guidance regarding standards and solutions for security; projects; and for the overall IT implementation of their strategic vision of their respective areas. This position implements and influences change within their own architecture team, ITB, and the business; provides leadership to resources within their area as well as project teams, as required; and is the lead member of the enterprise architecture team responsible for the development of architectural standards and support.  The IT Architecture Manager has a collaborative relationship with the Managers of IT Technical and IT Applications to ensure that the impact on security and the domain architectures including technical, application, business and information are positive.
