Reporting to the Director, Information Technology Branch, the IT Application Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the application development teams in support of business application systems. These application systems include both custom developed and customized Commercial-off-the-shelf (COTS) applications and integrations. This position implements and influences change within their own application team, ITB and the business; provides leadership to business analysts and development resources within their area as well as application project teams, as required; and is a key member of the enterprise architecture team and provides contributions to aid development of architectural standards and support. The IT Application Manager has a collaborative relationship with the Managers of IT Technical and IT Architecture to ensure that the impact on the domain architectures including technical, application, business and information are positive.
