- organize Council meetings and ensure all minutes are taken, typed up and approved at the following meeting and files appropriately
- implement and maintain acceptable office procedures
- deal with correspondence, complaints and queries from staff, band members, Chief and Council, funders, and others as needed
- supervise, monitor, and discipline staff as per policy
- keep all personnel records in order including approving timesheets for payroll and all leave forms
- maintain pension and benefits
- other duties as requested from time to time
