With a successful 33-year track record in Saskatchewan, TECH Electric is primed for growth. To support our continued growth, we are looking for a Project Manager to join our team.
Reporting to the General Manager, the Project Manager plays a key role by ensuring overall efficient and effective management of the companies electrical construction projects. The primary function of the Project Manager is to deliver successful projects on time and on budget, including responsibility for review and negotiation of contracts, managing project labour and expense budgets, project quotations, procurement, quality assurance, safety and schedule in collaboration with Site Foreman.
As the ideal candidate, you are organized and experienced, with ties in the Saskatchewan construction industry. You provide a framework for site personnel to work from and clarify details to keep the project moving forward. Attending site meetings with general contractors and sub-trades you anticipate issues and act to correct them.
Strong fundamentals are a must, but you have more. You make it happen; You need to know how things work; you keep others informed; you compare alternatives to find optimal solutions; you create systems that ensure details are followed and milestones met; you manage conflict and motivate others; you are continually working to improve yourself and your team; you embrace work/life balance.

Qualifications:
A related post-secondary degree or PMP designation is preferred
7+ years electrical construction industry experience
5+ years managing $500,000+ projects in electrical industry
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent computer skills; advanced level in Word and Excel
Available to travel to project sites (a few days per month)
