Our client employer requires a Maintenance Mechanic/Millwright for their production plant in Wynyard. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, the Millwright is responsible for the effective functioning of the mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic equipment in the plant. As well, the Millwright will install, weld, and fabricate new equipment.
Excellent opportunity for results-driven individuals who have a valid Provincial Millwright Journeyman Certificate (or recognized interprovincial equivalent). Customer and team-focused, successful candidates will also have a minimum of two years of experience performing repairs in a manufacturing environment, knowledge of/experience in mechanical systems, welding, fabricating, and machining; the ability to use power and manual tools; strong communication abilities, verbal and written; ability to proactively identify and resolve maintenance issues; experience in HVAC an asset.
