The City of Prince Albert is currently accepting applications for various term Administrative Support positions in City Hall.
Daily duties for the Administrative Support positions will vary with each department however they are all customer service oriented positions which will include dealing with telephone and front counter inquiries, directing phone calls to the appropriate persons, and performing standardized clerical, record keeping and filing duties.
Desired Qualifications include:
Grade 12;
Certificate related to office education from a recognized post secondary institute;
Six (6) months related experience;
Good knowledge of standard office practices and procedures, business English, punctuation and arithmetic;
Ability to understand oral and written instructions as well as communicate effectively;
Ability to maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines while managing a heavy workload;
Knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Access; and
Typing speed of 55 words per minute.
Salary:
$17.49/hour to start, wage increase after 6 months of employment.
Hours of Work:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:45p.m., with an Earned Day Off every three weeks.
