Mechanic Position
Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan


Potters Industries has an immediate need for a Millwright/Mechanic position at our Moose Jaw facility in Saskatchewan.  This is a full time position which reports directly to the Production Supervisor.


Responsibilities include, but not limited to:

o    Perform all mechanical maintenance and repair on plant and office equipment.
o    Install and maintain material handling systems.
o    Proper setup and use of machine tools.
o    Setup and operate welding equipment, including arc, metal inert gas and plasma; gas welding equipment  braze, solder, layout and tack to specifications.
o    Respond to emergency call-in or breakdowns as necessary.
o    Safe and proper operation of all maintenance equipment and tools complying with safety legislation and company policy.
o    An understanding and exercise of ISO 14000/9000 practices during the performance of duties.  


Qualifications:

    Licensed millwright in the province of Saskatchewan or commensurate skills and 10 years of plant manufacturing service.
    Familiarity with ISO 9001 & 14001.
    Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meets deadlines.
