Description

Grain Millers is one of North Americas premier Oat Milling companies that supplies customers in the bakery, wholesale and retail markets across Canada, USA and Worldwide.  Our flax division, located in Saskatoon, Sask., is seeking an individual to join our team as a short haul Truck Driver.
You will be responsible for safe and timely loading, transferring and delivery of product.  These are short haul trips, servicing the Saskatoon facility with supply from Saskatchewan locations. Regular servicing of the truck, including annual inspections, are also requirements of the position. Additional duties will be assigned at the plant, as needed, if no shipments are scheduled during your shift.

This is a permanent, fulltime position.  Scheduled hours will be M-F day shifts but you must be flexible and available to work OT as required.  Grain Millers Canada offers its employees excellent wages and a comprehensive company health and pension plans.
  Required Qualifications
    Must hold a valid 1A drivers licence with clean driving abstract
    Several years experience in hauling grain an asset
    Must possess the ability to operate equipment (ie augers) and have basic troubleshooting skills
    Ability to work in a grain processing environment which exposes staff to allergens such as, but not limited to, grain and grain dust.
    Must be comfortable in working with heights and/or confined spaces
    Applicants must be authorized to work in Canada.
    Employment is subject to successfully completing a criminal record check.
