Key Outcomes:
Ensure the administration of assigned files is handled in accordance with product guidelines and parameters and posted service standards for accuracy and timeliness by:
- Processing new Wills and POAs, cancellations and renunciations
- Preparing, sending, receipting and following up on statements and invoices Initiating and completing redemption and transfer of assets as required
- Diarizing crucial dates and deadlines and keeping detailed documentation of all communications
- Opening, reconciling and closing accounts
- Keying of accurate and timely information to the data systems
- Maintaining records with Crown Storage, ordering supplies and inventory
- Processing the bank deposit, filing, arranging courier
Contribute to enhancing the accuracy, efficiency and timeliness of the daily functioning of trust administration by:
- Identifying needed core system control enhancements and reporting problems with trust system
- Initiate changes to procedures/forms/manuals for increased efficiency
- Escalating potential system problems to Senor Officer
Qualifications:
- Working knowledge of the administration of Corporate Trust, Registered Plan Trusteeship accounts, Wills, Estates and Trusts.
- Working knowledge of financial services data systems and/or trust systems
- Proficient knowledge of Word, Excel, Outlook and Internet
- 1 to 2 years post-secondary education and 2 years in experience in the financial or trust services sector
- Enrollment in corporate trust applicable education program.
