Description

Regina Youth for Christ is a christian mission organization that runs 5 youth group homes as well as several community and school outreach programs in Regina, Moose Jaw and the Battlefords. As a missions organization Regina Youth For Christ requires all staff to be in agreement with their Statement of Faith and to participate in mission-minded activities such as fund-raising.

There is a current ministry opportunity open for a full time Case Worker in Regina. This position provides an opportunity to oversee case files for 7 youth in a peer home model. It also includes the expectation of working hands-on with the youth that they oversee. The right candidate must be experienced and/or educated in working with youth in a peer home environment.

Overview:

Education:
- Bachelor of Social Work or equivalent

Assessing and Planning
- Coordinating and overseeing case plans
- Facilitating quarterly meetings with stakeholders
- Communicating and executing case plans with housing staff
- Providing behavioural support plans in collaboration with staff

Reporting and Administration
- Developing intake reports
- Development Assessment Reports (quarterly)
- Ensure proper reports are written and/or collected

Overseeing and Guiding
- Providing support to House Managers and staff
- Weekly meetings with each youth under their case supervision
- Attend critical medical and mental health appointments as required
