FULL-TIME FRONT DESK AGENT
at Saskatoon Inn Hotel and Conference Centre ,
As a Guest Service Agent, you play a vital role in the operation and appearance of the hotel. It is one of the first areas that the guest encounters upon entering the hotel and as such it is extremely important that a good impression is made to ensure guest confidence and perception.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Registering guests upon their arrival (check-in) and completion of customer experience (check-outs).
Addressing any and all guest requirements and requests; providing clear and precise direction to guests.
Switchboard duties (answering all incoming calls, providing necessary information and/or directing calls appropriately).
Taking reservations and ensuring accurate internal communication related to booking.
An awareness of events within hotel and Saskatoon, and directly guests appropriately.
Full knowledge of rates and any changes that may occur to policy.
Internal communication of guest to other internal departments via radio.
Conveying information to the next shift and supervisor.
Written documentation of any guest concerns; with information subsequently relayed to Front Office Manager and General Manager.
Terms of Employment:
Full time (40 hours/week); Weekend, Day, Evening; Requires Flexibility, and able to work in rotating shifts.
Qualifications:
Strong customer service background
Ability to maintain professionalism under pressure
Basic computer knowledge including MS Office Word & Excel.
Preference given to those with previous Hotel Front Desk experience
Knowledge in Opera, as PMS is a plus
Ability to work a flexible schedule, including weekends and holidays.
Position availability: Immediately
