Description

Crestline is seeking a Financial Controller. This position is responsible for fulfilling a corporate leadership role with functional accountability for both the Accounting and Information Technology departments.  


The successful candidates will have:
Previous experience in a Controller and/or Accounting Supervisor position required with a minimum 10 years experience in IT function.
Chartered Professional Accountant certification (i.e. CPA) with a college or university degree, preferably in Computer Science and/or Engineering is required.
Demonstrated proficiency with advanced accounting principles and guidelines as well as financial statement presentation.
Demonstrated proficiency in dealing with corporate auditors, government officials, banks, insurance brokers, etc.
Corporate and functional leadership experience required.
Strong experience with ERP, SAP Business One experience is preferred.
Previous experience in IT application assessment and restructuring required.
Advanced understanding of common IT hardware and software systems, and the ability to facilitate achievement of IT projects.
Excellent IT diagnostic problems and opportunities skills demonstrated.
Demonstrated integrity and trustworthiness.
Demonstrated ability to collaborate and negotiate with leaders across multiple functions.
Confident and professional in dealing with both internal colleagues and external contacts.
Driven with a sense of purpose and urgency.
Active listening, reading comprehension, written and oral expression to determine needs and/or resolve issues or problems.
Excellent leadership.
Superior analytical skills and the ability to creatively solve problems.
