Description

This position plays a key role in the organization, focusing on the development of our staff complement. The key responsibilities will include but not limited to: development of in-house training materials; facilitation of various types of training programs; orientation of new staff; coordinating the roll out of the annual training plan by working closely with third party suppliers and internal departments to schedule all training sessions; providing support and back up to the Human Resource team.

Qualifications:
- 4-6 years of experience within the financial industry in a variety of areas such as member service, lending, investments, administration, etc. Working knowledge of a full range of financial products and services would be an asset.
- Demonstrated ability to effectively present and speak to different groups of people. Previous facilitation experience would be an asset. Continuing education in this area will be a requirement.
- Certificate or Diploma in Adult education is required; however, we will entertain applications from those who are willing to enroll in the program upon hire.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proven experience in design of training material/programs.
- Strong time management and project management skills with proven ability to handle multiple priorities.
- Demonstrated commitment to customer and organizational excellence, plus an above average attention to detail.
- Ability to remain objective and maintain a factual perspective when dealing with questions and inquiries; be perceptive and able to understand all sides of an issue.
- Established track record of developing strong internal and external relationships, both individually and in a team environment.
