Description

Black Diamond Group Limited is one of the fastest growing modular building, remote lodging, and energy services companies in North America and we have a Service Hand opportunity in our Estevan Energy Services team.

Reporting to the Estevan Branch Manager the successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining and repairing equipment while delivering first class customer service.

Duties and Responsibilities
Maintaining and repairing our rental fleet for both surface rental equipment and accommodation gear
Set up and tear out of camps, well sites and sleepers
Plumbing, Electrical and Carpentry Repairs
Heating and HVAC repairs
Satellite wiring and set up
Various trouble shooting on equipment
Tracking of all tools assigned to truck
Ensuring Truck assigned is clean and in working order
Ensure appropriate paper work upon finishing job
Follow all Black Diamonds policies and procedures
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment
Provide assistance and perform other duties as required

Skills and Qualifications:

The successful candidate must:
Have a valid H2S, First Aid, & Fall Arrest certifications
Have demonstrated knowledge and capability to perform general painting, plumbing, carpentry, electrical, heating systems and site maintenance tasks.
Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices.
Have a clean and valid non GDL drivers license
Have a high attention to detail and be self-motivated,
Be able to pass drug test on demand
Have completed secondary school (preferable)
Previous maintenance experience and the technical ability to carry out work orders
An ability to communicate professionally with clients, staff, and management.
Must be fluent in English both oral and written

Work weeks are scheduled and include 8 days on, two days on call, two days off with the option to work your days off. No relocation or camp options available for this role
